2. What We Learned From Our Research Before Creating Genio
Before taking action, we listened, researched, and compared
Before offering anything, we took time — time for research, time to confront real-world challenges, time for careful analysis.
We reviewed dozens of scientific reports, spoke with over 30 health professionals (nutritionists, doctors, psychologists), and analyzed the journeys of hundreds of people followed in prevention or post-disease programs.
And one thing became clear: what’s missing most today isn’t information. It’s personalized application.
3 Key Findings From Our Research
-
The knowledge exists, but it’s not being applied.
The data linking lifestyle habits to longevity is well-known. But it remains underused in the general population due to a lack of structure, follow-up, and consistency. -
Most tests aren’t connected to meaningful actions.
DNA or biological tests are valuable. But if they’re not interpreted or followed by a true action plan, they’re just another PDF report — with no impact. -
No platform connects everything in one place.
There are many great initiatives — apps, nutritionists, coaches, fitness programs. But none provide a complete, personalized platform that centralizes data, recommendations, meals, and long-term tracking.
These Lessons Shaped Our Method
These insights led us to build Génio as an integrative preventive health platform, structured around three key pillars:
- Initial assessment (via questionnaire or biological test)
- Concrete recommendations (programs, meals, daily routines)
- Regular re-measurement (every 6 months) to track real habit impact
Our Core Tool: The Habit Score
Based on 120 scientifically validated questions, our Habit Score gives you a first snapshot of your strengths and areas to improve — across nutrition, sleep, stress, and physical activity.
This score can be further refined through biological testing (DNA or epigenetics), thanks to our partners like TechIncare (France) and N-Gen (Spain).
This combination of questionnaire + test allows deep personalization, without unnecessary medicalization.
A Data-Driven Approach — Not Just Promises
Our method is based on solid science. Here are two key studies we used from the start:
- Predictive Biomarkers of Healthy Aging Based on Epigenetics
- Individualization of Nutritional Recommendations in Health and Disease
These studies confirmed our core belief: health cannot be standardized. It must be tailored, monitored, and adapted over time.
What This Changes for You
With this approach:
- You start with what you already have — your answers, your data.
- You move forward step by step, at your own pace.
- You track your progress in your personal Génio dashboard.
- And most importantly: you re-measure every 6 months to validate your efforts.
This loop — measure, act, re-measure — was the missing link in preventive care.
It’s what we chose to bring to life.
